Malea’s Closet Crafts Service Agreement

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing the services provided by Malea's Closet to the client.

Communication

  • Primary Method: All communication will be conducted via email. Clients are expected to regularly check their email accounts for updates, proofs, and important information.
  • Written Confirmation: All verbal discussions should be followed up with a written email to ensure accuracy and avoid misunderstandings.

Delivery and Pickup

  • Fees: Delivery fees may apply, depending on the location. For Chicago and surrounding areas, pickup fees range from $10 to $25. An additional $10 fee will be charged for Sunday deliveries.
  • Delivery Times:
    • Monday-Friday: 6 PM - 9 PM
    • Saturday: 12 PM - 7 PM
    • Sunday: Closed
  • Pickup Times:
    • Monday-Friday: 5 PM - 9 PM
    • Saturday: 10 AM - 7 PM
    • Sunday: Closed
  • Banners and Backdrops: These items will be shipped directly from the printer to the client. Full payment is required upon approval of the design. Tracking information will be provided to the client once the order is shipped. Malea's Closet is not responsible for delivery after the order is handed over to the shipping carrier. Clients should contact the shipping carrier directly for any inquiries or issues related to delivery.

Payment

  • Due Date: All payments are due at the time of invoicing or purchase.
  • Large Balloon Orders: For balloon orders exceeding $250, a 50% deposit is required if the event is more than 21 days away. The remaining balance must be paid within 7 days of the event. Failure to pay the remaining balance within the specified timeframe may result in forfeiture of the order and a 75% refund.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: CashApp, PayPal, Cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Walmart to Walmart.

Contracts

  • Client Agreement: The client must sign a contract acknowledging their agreement to the terms and conditions of this service agreement.
  • Separate Payee: If the payee is different from the consultant, an additional contract must be signed.

Cancellation and Refunds

  • Notice Period: To receive a refund, cancellations must be made no later than 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled event date.
  • Refund Amount: Refunds will be issued for all payments made, minus a 25% cancellation fee.
  • Consultant Cancellation: In the event that Malea's Closet cancels the event, the client will receive a full refund and a 20% discount on their next order.
  • Cancellation Method: All cancellations must be made by email or text to 773-916-2814.

Miscellaneous

  • Communication: Active email communication is essential for timely updates and approvals.
  • Social Media: Clients agree to allow Malea's Closet to display images from the event on their social media pages. Images will not be posted until the day after the event.
  • Amendments: Any amendments to this agreement must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

Acceptance

By making a payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this service agreement.
